Autoocupació estimates that currently 72.8% of students find employment or start a self-employment project after completing a fully subsidized training course at the entity.
The Autoocupació training service offers a wide range of fully subsidized occupational training for both employed and unemployed individuals, with the aim of helping them achieve their professional goals and enter the job market. In addition, the entity also offers the possibility of undertaking internships in companies and an employment guidance service. “Thanks to the team of instructors and the professional team of the training service, we offer high-quality training and an individual and personalized guidance service that promotes the job placement of our students” explains Vanessa Montserrat, head of the entity’s training service.

According to the foundation’s data, during 2018, the service trained over 2,000 students. Specifically, 2,245 students attended Autoocupació classrooms in the Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, and Tarragona delegations, where over 14,000 hours of training were delivered through 141 training activities, a figure that has tripled in the last four years.
