A grant scheme is launched for entrepreneurs in Reus

The Reus City Council has launched a grant scheme for businesses and new entrepreneurs in the city. The grants, totaling €85,000, aim to promote economic growth and revitalization.

Requirements

Eligible beneficiaries of the grants are individuals who meet the general and specific requirements set out in the guidelines and who have started economic activity or transferred business ownership between August 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023.

Grant Schemes

  • Promotion of business creation and establishment in Reus. Aimed at newly created businesses with an establishment in Reus that make a minimum investment of €5,000 for their operational setup.
  • Promotion of maintaining an establishment or business through a transfer. For businesses established in Reus that acquire an existing business, continue its economic activity in the same establishment, and have made a minimum investment of €5,000 in eligible expenses.
For both schemes, the maximum grant amount will be €2,500, and eligible expenses include technical engineering, interior design, decoration, or architecture projects, construction, installations, furniture, or technical equipment, among others.
