Business Creation

The
Business Creation service offers personalized and fully subsidized support throughout the self-employment journey, with the aim of transforming entrepreneurs’ business ideas into viable and successful companies.
During 2023, the business creation service launched new projects, such as the
Llançadora, entrepreneurship grants. The service also assisted
558 entrepreneurs, advising them on creating their business plan, market study, and the viability of their entrepreneurial project, and contributed to the creation of
117 new businesses, generating more than 150 new jobs.
Training
Autoocupació is committed to
occupational training for active and unemployed individuals as a way to help them achieve their professional goals.
It also offers the possibility of undertaking internships in companies through Professional Certificates.
During 2023, the
training service reached almost
4,000 trained students: Specifically,
3,980 students attended one of Autoocupació’s courses taught during the year. This translates to a total of
22,213 hours of training delivered in Virtual Classroom, Tele-training, and in-person formats at the Foundation’s four delegations.
Mentoring
Autoocupació offers
personalized support through its mentoring service, where volunteer business owners and professionals share their experience with
young entrepreneurs to help them consolidate and grow their businesses.
During 2023, the service established
261 new mentoring relationships and contributed to supporting 256 businesses. Throughout the year,
350 entrepreneurs participated in the program, and 216 mentors initiated a new mentoring process.
Reempresa
Reempresa, an initiative by
Patronal Cecot and
Autoocupació, reaffirms itself as Catalonia’s business buying and selling market. In 2023, a total of
528 successful business transfers were achieved, with more than
1450 jobs safeguarded. Autoocupació closes the year for the Reempresa service with
902 sellers and 1360 new entrepreneurs.
Guidance
Autoocupació also offers a
personalized information, professional guidance, and job search support service for all individuals, whether unemployed or active, who are facing a job placement or career change process.
During 2023,
2267 people benefited from guidance and support for
over 5,000 hours. More than 30% successfully
entered the job market.
