Autoocupació: 2025 in figures

Business creation

Throughout 2025, the Business Creation service of Autoocupació has reinforced its commitment to entrepreneurship, offering comprehensive, personalized, and fully subsidized support to individuals wishing to launch their own business projects. This year, the service has assisted 573 entrepreneurs and 112 new companies have been created, generating more than 152 jobs. Regarding financing, a total of €2,000,000 has been granted through 58 specific funding operations.

During this year, special emphasis has been placed on DUAL Llançadora, our own incubator, which has been developed simultaneously across the three branches in Barcelona, Tarragona, and Girona, with the participation of 39 young people, strengthening support for entrepreneurship and the creation of new professional projects. Likewise, the Consolida’t program has continued to be promoted, aimed at self-employed individuals with the goal of strengthening and consolidating their business projects, becoming one of the most prominent initiatives.

Training

The training service of Autoocupació maintains its commitment to professional qualification as a key lever to promote job placement. Throughout 2025, a total of 3,197 students participated in training activities, collectively achieving 17,109 hours of training delivered across 208 training actions.

The training offer, delivered both in person and through the Virtual Classroom and E-learning, has been oriented toward providing students with skills and knowledge adapted to various professional fields. Furthermore, part of the training itineraries continued with internships in companies through Professional Certificates, thus contributing to strengthening their employability.

Mentoring

The Mentoring service consolidated its growth throughout 2025, expanding its support network with the creation of 346 new mentoring relationships between entrepreneurs and mentors. In total, 390 entrepreneurs participated in this service, with 297 mentors, 154 of whom joined for the first time, sharing their experience to help consolidate businesses and help them grow. During this period, 304 businesses were supported through close and tailored advice, which is key to facing market challenges and opening new growth opportunities.

Guidance

The guidance service of Autoocupació supported 2,305 people during 2025, with more than 7,500 dedicated hours spent accompanying them in their job search or professional career change process. This individualized support has had a positive impact on job placement, as more than 30% of the people served successfully entered the labor market. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the service in improving job opportunities for those who are unemployed or looking to change professions.

Reempresa

The Reempresa service has reinforced its role as an essential instrument for ensuring the continuity of the business fabric in Catalonia. The year 2025 marked a historic record, with 630 successful business transfers, the highest figure achieved to date, which has allowed for saving more than 1,822 jobs. This initiative has enabled companies in difficulty to find a new path through buying and selling, with an induced investment of more than 43 million euros. By the end of the year, 879 transferors and 1,613 re-entrepreneurs participated in this business transition process, guaranteeing the continuity of companies important to the local economy.

With these results, Autoocupació reinforces its involvement in promoting entrepreneurship, job creation, and labor market integration.
