Autoocupació, at BizBarcelona and the Employment Fair 2023

Bizbarcelona and the Employment Fair will be held on October 4 and 5 at Fira de Barcelona, focused on helping people develop new business, professional, and employment opportunities. The two events, featuring over a hundred activities, guidance services, training workshops, conferences, and talks, return together with the aim of fostering talent and boosting local economies.

Autoocupació’s Activities

Once again, Autoocupació will actively participate in Biz and the Fair with its own stand, where entrepreneurs and job seekers will receive information and advice. Additionally, the following activities will be held:
  • ‘I Am What I Want to Be’ Conference: Led by Rafa Rodríguez from University of Change, this aims to motivate entrepreneurs to break through their own barriers to achieve their goals.
  • Startup Huddle Barcelona: A networking event where two entrepreneurs present the challenges they face and receive feedback and assistance from attendees.
  • Mentoring Masterclass: Unleashing Talent: A keynote speech by Maria Pilar Mestre, a coaching expert who will share practical strategies and tools with attendees to successfully fulfill the role of mentor, helping entrepreneurs unleash their full potential.
  • Mentoring Roundtable: The Protagonists Speak: A roundtable where pairs of entrepreneurs and mentors participating in the Mentoring program will share their experiences, reactivating small businesses and maintaining employment. Recognitions will be awarded to the most active volunteer mentors.
  • Test Your Talent: A simulation of group selection through gamification, aiming to increase job seekers’ chances of success by practicing their personal skills and abilities before a group of strangers.
