Autoocupació, at BizBarcelona and the Employment Fair 2024

Bizbarcelona and the Employment Fair will be held on October 23 and 24 at Fira de Barcelona, with a focus on helping individuals develop new business, professional, and employment opportunities. Both events, featuring over a hundred activities, guidance services, training workshops, conferences, and talks, return together with the aim of fostering talent and boosting local economies.

Autoocupació’s Activities

Once again, Autoocupació will actively participate in Biz and the Fair with its own stand, where entrepreneurs and job seekers will receive information and advice. Additionally, the following activities will be held:
  • ‘I Am What I Want to Be’ Conference: Led by Rafa Rodríguez from University of Change, this aims to motivate entrepreneurs to break through their own barriers to achieve their goals.
  • Startup Huddle Barcelona: A networking event where two entrepreneurs present the challenges they face and receive feedback and assistance from attendees.
  • Mentoring Masterclass: Unleashing Talent: A keynote speech by Isabel Boix, a coaching expert, who will share practical strategies and tools for successfully performing the role of a mentor, helping entrepreneurs unleash their full potential.
  • Mentoring Roundtable: The Protagonists Speak: A roundtable where a mentoring pair will share their experience participating in the program. Recognitions will be awarded to the most active volunteer mentors and to the municipalities in the province of Barcelona that have been most involved this year.
  • Discover the DISC Test and Your Personality: A session introducing the DISC test, a behavioral analysis tool that helps define how a person behaves in their environment and reacts to certain scenarios.
