Autoocupació, honored at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2022

  • Autoocupació has won the award for the best campaign of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
  • The award was presented during the Global Entrepreneurship Congress held in Riyadh.
Autoocupació, the entity representing Spain in the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), has been honored with the GEW Campaign of the Year award for its work leading Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), promoting and celebrating entrepreneurship in Spain. Between November 8 and 14, 2021, Autoocupació organized 504 events, in collaboration with more than 50 public and private institutions and with the support of the Ministry of Employment. The award is part of the GEN Compass Awards 2022, which recognize countries and organizations that make a difference by building entrepreneurial ecosystems and helping entrepreneurs create businesses. The award was received by Albert Colomer and Guillem Arís, President and Director of Autoocupació, at a ceremony during the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2022, held from March 27 to 30 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the motto “Rethink, Restart, Regenerate” and bringing together thousands of people and leading institutions in the field of entrepreneurship from over 180 countries. Andalucía Emprende, which participated for the first time in GEN activities, has also been honored with the Rookie of the Year award.
