The members of the Young Entrepreneurs Succeed program, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants fund, have organized the project’s 5th internal Workshop, which was held remotely on October 6 and 7 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The first day was dedicated to the project’s progress. The partners discussed the progress of separate tasks, focusing on the challenges faced due to the COVID-19 crisis. Additionally, they introduced the program’s new digital platform for essays and documents, the Thinking Space platform, featuring information and best practices.
The second day focused on NEETs seeking employment and ways to support this target group. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, many young people across Europe suddenly lost their jobs and need specialized support to re-enter the labor market. On this basis, attendees explored the most effective support services that will help NEETs overcome barriers to employment, primarily through mentoring intervention.
The partners agreed to collaborate over the coming weeks to prepare an effective mentoring service dedicated to supporting NEETs seeking employment.
