Autoocupació participates in the 10th edition of the GEC in Istanbul

  • More than 2,000 people from 171 different countries gathered from April 16 to 19 in Istanbul during GEC 2018.
  • Albert Colomer and Guillem Arís attended the congress as the representative organization for GEN Spain.
Last April, more than 170 countries participated in the 10th edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2018 in Istanbul, organized by the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN). During its 10th edition, GEN brought together more than 2,000 people from around the world, transforming the city into the hub of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. During the 4 days of the congress, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, business owners, etc., were able to generate new connections and learn about new projects in the world of entrepreneurship.   Autoocupació, which collaborated with GEN by leading GEW Spain 2017, once again represented GEN Spain. Albert Colomer, President of Autoocupació, and Guillem Arís, Director of Autoocupació, attended as delegates from the Spanish territory.   The congress, organized and sponsored by the Global Entrepreneurship Network, Kauffman Foundation, Endeavor Turkey, Habitat, Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), and Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), offered an extensive program of conferences, workshops, discussion forums, and networking with the aim of connecting entrepreneurship leaders from around the world.
