Autoocupació participates in the round table “Mentoring for entrepreneurs” at the 4th edition of the Bilbao Mentoring Conference

Bilbao, June 20, 2019 – The Euskalduna Palace hosted the fourth edition of the Bilbao Mentoring Conference, an event organized by the Bilbao City Council with the aim of contributing to the development of talent and the connectivity of companies in the region. The event served as a meeting point for various national and international figures in mentoring who participated in the conferences and round tables organized during the Bilbao Mentoring Conference. Ana Bejarano, head of the business creation and mentoring service at Autoocupació, participated in the round table “Mentoring for entrepreneurs”, sharing Autoocupació’s experience through the organization’s mentoring program for young entrepreneurs. The round table, moderated by Garbiñe Henry, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Deusto, also featured Carlos García, head of the SOCEM HUB Silver Economy program, Maria Gutierrez, CEO and founder of Hiwook, and Joerg Schoolmann, head of mentoring at Youth Business International. During the event, an awards ceremony was also held to recognize the individuals who participated in the 10th edition of the Bilbao City Council Mentoring Program, a program where 81 mentors have already helped more than 100 businesses and SMEs achieve their goals since 2008. The awards value the work of the professionals in the 10th edition of the program in guiding, motivating, and providing entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to lead and grow their own business projects.
