Celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week in 5 steps

October 10, 2018

  • From November 12 to 18, Global Entrepreneurship Week will be held in over 170 countries
  • Entrepreneurship Week will connect entrepreneurs, investors, institutions, and companies with one goal: to celebrate entrepreneurship
Once again, November will be the month of entrepreneurship. During the week of November 12 to 18, the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2018 will be celebrated, seven days of events, activities, conferences, and workshops that will celebrate entrepreneurship and connect entrepreneurial ecosystems in over 170 countries. Autoocupació, Reempresa and BANC will be the host organizations for the initiative in Spain. Everyone has a place in the world of GEW, so to make the most of Entrepreneurship Week, follow these steps:   GEN is the organization that has led Global Entrepreneurship Week for 11 editions. Visit their website, register your profile and connect with a global network of entrepreneurs, investors, companies, and institutions that promote their projects, share ideas, and discover new realities in the entrepreneurial world.   Organize a conference, a round table, workshops, contests, exhibitions, networking events… Any activity is good for celebrating entrepreneurship! And if organizing events isn’t your strong suit, participate in one of them; you’ll find all activities and events on the Global Entrepreneurship Week website.   Create an event (or many!) on the Global Entrepreneurship Week website, explain all the details of the activities and events you have organized, choose one of the four themes proposed for GEW 2018 – Women, Youth, Inclusion, Ecosystem connect – that fits your activity, and reach new audiences. Your activity will become part of the GEW 2018 global event database!   The Global Entrepreneurship Week also recognizes the undeniable power of social media, and aims to be a trending topic on the first day of Global Entrepreneurship Week, November 12! Follow their profiles and use the hashtag #GEW2018 when sharing news about your events!   Since its inception in 2008, GEW has grown, involving nearly 10 million people in over 170 countries each year, becoming a global event that highlights the power of entrepreneurship in our society. Join the global celebration of entrepreneurship!
