The Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia joins Global Entrepreneurship Week 2019

  • Secondary schools, high schools, and vocational training centers in Catalonia that teach economics and entrepreneurship will celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week from November 18 to 24.
From November 18 to 24, 2019, the Global Entrepreneurship Network will celebrate a new edition of Global Entrepreneurship Week, with more than 10 million people from over 170 countries expected to participate. For the third consecutive year, the Autoocupació foundation will promote Global Entrepreneurship Week in Spain with the aim of fostering entrepreneurial culture and connecting entrepreneurs, collaborators, mentors, and investors. The Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia has joined Global Entrepreneurship Week 2019 by adding the proposal to the Catalan Educational Telematic Network (XTEC) agenda. From November 18 to 24, activities organized by secondary schools, high schools, and vocational training centers that join the initiative will become part of the GEW 2019 global events database. Among other activities, centers can offer educational sessions linked to entrepreneurship, invite entrepreneurs into the classroom, hold a center-wide entrepreneurship day, etc. This year’s edition will focus the celebration on four key pillars for the entrepreneurial ecosystem of global interest: Education, ecosystems, inclusion, and policy.   About the Global Entrepreneurship Network GEW 2019 infographic The The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) is a network that promotes programs in more than 170 countries with the aim of making it easier for anyone, anywhere, to start and scale their business.
