Girona and Barcelona host a new edition of Startup Huddle during GEW2019

  • The networking event was held in conjunction with the Global Entrepreneurship Week promoted by the Global Entrepreneurship Network.
  • During both events, entrepreneurs from Salut al dia, Altior, Child Care On, and DisJob presented their challenges.
Autoocupació held two editions of Startup Huddle this week in Girona and Barcelona, coinciding with the celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2019. La Diva (Girona) and the Pere Tarrés Faculty of Education and Social Work hosted mentors, entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurship professionals who attended the presentation of two entrepreneurial projects, respectively: Salut al dia and Altior, for the Girona event, and Childcare On and DisJob, for the Barcelona event. Startup Huddle is a networking event where local communities help entrepreneurs solve their challenges. During the event, two entrepreneurs, one by one, present the challenges their projects face and receive feedback from attendees. This event is currently held in more than 50 cities in over 25 countries within the framework of the Global Entrepreneurship Network.   Want to learn about the Startup Huddle projects?
  • Salut al dia: A company dedicated to organizing physical exercise activities for people over 50, with a recreational and social component.
  • Altior: Industrial process customization service through innovation for food producers and machinery manufacturers.
  • DisJob: A job portal for people with disabilities, a leader in the recruitment and selection of talented individuals with disabilities.
  • Childcare On: A company developing applications and websites for managing communication between educational and leisure centers, teachers and monitors, students, and families.
