Global Entrepreneurship Week; A week to promote the entrepreneurial spirit

  • From November 13 to 19, the Global Entrepreneurship Week will be held, with over 160 countries participating.

Barcelona, October 23, 2017 – The 10th edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Week Spain 2017 (GEW Spain 2017), which will take place from November 13 to 19, will feature various activities and events organized by entities, companies, entrepreneurs, and institutions with the aim of celebrating entrepreneurship and promoting the entrepreneurial spirit. This year, Autoocupació, Reempresa, and BANC will be the three organizations hosting the initiative in Spain. Nevertheless, and with the aim of accommodating the maximum number of organizations wishing to join the entrepreneurship week, events can be registered for GEW Spain 2017 throughout the month of November. To participate in GEW Spain 2017, each organization must create a user account on the organization’s website and register its events. Following this process, over 10 editions, GEW has managed to create a global community with over 160 participating countries. From here, entrepreneurs, companies, investors, and institutions promote their projects, share ideas, and have the opportunity to discover new realities in the entrepreneurial world. The 2016 edition of GEW Spain, promoted by Youth Business Spain and the Fundación Rafael del Pino, which hosted the launch event for GEW Spain 2016, featured 153 events held in different Spanish cities. Therefore, this year’s edition is expected to be well-received and continue to inspire those who wish to embark on entrepreneurial ventures.
