Grant for social entities in Catalonia 2024

A grant is being opened with the aim of collaborating with social entities that develop their projects in Catalonia, to promote initiatives especially aimed at people in situations of social vulnerability, with the objective of improving their quality of life and promoting equal opportunities.

Beneficiaries (individuals or companies)

  • Non-profit entities
  • Entities, whether for-profit or non-profit, within the social economy
  • Non-profit cultural entities

Requirements

  • Be accredited in the La Caixa Foundation’s call for applications system and designate a project manager
  • Have their registered office in Catalonia
  • Be registered in the corresponding administrative registry
  • Have their own NIF (Tax ID number)
  • Have registered bylaws and a minimum of one year of activity since the date of incorporation
  • Carry out the actions starting from March 2025 and during the following 12 months

Amount and deadlines

This grant consists of 2 modalities. In the first, aid of up to €50,000 can be requested. In contrast, in the second, an amount of up to €100,000 can be requested. In the case of modality 2, funding is specifically aimed at entities with projects that incorporate a series of elements justifying a higher allocation, such as:
  • Broad or intense territorial intervention
  • Action targeting a particularly large group
  • The need to address special material investments
