Grants for companies in the trade and services sector of Segrià

The Segrià County Council has published new grants in the field of trade and services to compensate for economic losses resulting from COVID-19 in the municipalities of Lleida, Alcarràs, Soses, Seròs, Aitona, la Granja d’Escarp, and Torres de Segre. Who can apply for the grant? Legal entities and self-employed individuals who own a physical retail establishment, trade with tasting, catering (cafeterias, bars, and restaurants), musical recreational activities, tourist accommodation establishments, or professional services assimilated to retail trade, as well as those who have the corresponding municipal authorization to carry out a non-sedentary commercial activity of selling non-food items organized in street markets, who have seen their activity suspended or reduced as a result of Resolution SLT/1698/2020, of July 15, which adopts new special measures in the aforementioned municipalities, with an establishment in at least one of these municipalities. Only individuals and companies for whom this situation has led to a decrease in their turnover during the month of July 2020, at least, of 50% compared to July of the previous year.   Grant amount The grant will consist of a contribution of:
  • €2,000 per beneficiary
  • €400 per holder of a non-sedentary commercial activity selling non-food items.
  Documentation to be attached Along with the standardized application form that you will find on the website, which will already include the responsible declaration regarding compliance with the requirements, you only need to attach:
  • Signed bank transfer form
  • Authorization document, in case of acting through a representative
  • In case of opposition to the administration checking that there are no outstanding debts, a negative debt certificate from the Lleida City Council, a negative debt certificate with the TGSS, and a negative certificate of tax obligations from the AEAT must be provided.
  Application submission deadline From October 30 to November 12.   Processing of applications Applications shall be submitted electronically to the City Council of the municipality where the establishment where the commercial activity is carried out is located, or has municipal authorization to carry out a non-sedentary commercial activity of selling non-food items.
