Grants for Emerging Tech Companies

The Startup Capital grant scheme is announced, a support program aimed at emerging technology startups that need funding during the initial stages of their business, to develop their product and validate their business model.

Requirements

  • Have an operational establishment in Catalonia
  • The startup cannot be more than 18 months old at the time of application

Eligible actions and expenses

  • Expenses for personnel hired or newly recruited for the project.
  • Contracting services from third parties.
  • Investment in materials and equipment with a maximum of 50% of the accepted eligible expense.
  • Other related expenses such as space rental, application and/or maintenance costs for patents, and other expenses associated with the project’s execution
A maximum of 99,000 euros per project will be subsidized. In addition, it also includes advice from a mentor.
