New Grant for Cultural Projects

A call for applications has been opened for projects and activities of an extraordinary nature that contribute to the improvement of the cultural fabric of the city of Barcelona through various forms of cultural expression (performing arts, music, dance, audiovisual, literature, and other disciplines).

Participation requirements

Legally constituted legal entities and individuals may be beneficiaries. It is not necessary to have a registered office in Barcelona, but the project must be carried out within the city. Projects must meet the following requirements:
  • Be of an exceptional, unique, and non-periodic nature
  • Not have an annual frequency
  • Be promoted for the first time
  • Be carried out from January 1 to December 31, 2023

Categories and grant amounts

There are three categories, depending on the type of cultural project.
  • Category A: anniversaries, commemorations, and celebrations. Up to €7,000
  • Category B: new projects or first editions. Up to €3,000
  • Category C: extraordinary projects. Up to €3,000
