New Grant Scheme for the Digital Transformation of Commerce

Barcelona City Council’s Directorate of Commerce, Restaurant, and Consumer Services has launched a grant scheme, with a budget of one million euros, for the digital transformation of commerce and restaurants in the city of Barcelona. The grant amount will be 50% of the eligible cost, with a maximum amount of €3,500 per application.   Beneficiary Entities The grant scheme can be exclusively applied for by:
  • Individual retail establishments
  • Stalls in municipal markets
  • Commercial establishments offering any of the following services:
    • Mechanical repair shops and services
    • Photographic and audiovisual services
    • Copy shops and graphic arts
    • Repair services
    • Travel agencies
    • Dry cleaners and laundries
    • Hairdressers, aesthetic and beauty salons
    • Prepared food and catering services
    • Bars and restaurants
    • Veterinary clinics with a physical store
  Participation Requirements To apply for the grant, you must:
  • Have a commercial premises located on the ground floor and/or at street level in an urban area in the city of Barcelona
  • Align investment expenses with the objective and purpose of this call

  • Business strategy
  • Digital communication
  • Digital marketing
  • Online sales channels and omnichannel strategy
  • Online sales channel through existing platforms (Marketplaces, Apps, and others)
