New grant to increase audiences for culture

A new line of grants is being announced for professional activities aimed at the creation, loyalty, or increase of audiences for culture in Catalonia in the performing arts, visual arts, audiovisual media, and music, as well as for multidisciplinary activities. Audience development activities may be aimed at the general public or specifically at inclusive culture groups that recognize gender, ethnic, cultural, generational, and functional diversity or reduce the risk of social exclusion.

Beneficiaries

Private companies, both individuals and legal entities, and private non-profit organizations that are not majority-owned by public administrations can benefit from this grant.

Requirements

The following requirements must be met:
  • Activities must have started in the year the grant is awarded and end, at the latest, on the last business day of October of the following year.
  • Activities must be in-person and in Catalonia
  • Catalan must be used as the vehicular language for the activities and their promotion, at least 50% of the time
  • The budget for the activities must be up to 000.00 euros
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in carrying out cultural activities must be demonstrated

Amount and deadlines
