The conference “Silver Economy: generating new business lines” is held

Last Thursday, April 27, Autoocupació organized, together with Barcelona Activa, the conference “Silver Economy: generating new business lines“, within the framework of the Idees Madures program.

The event took place at the Cibernàrium, in the Poblenou neighborhood, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and brought together around 50 entrepreneurs.

The conference began with a welcome by Barcelona Activa and Guillem Arís, director of Autoocupació. The first activity was led by José de Juan Saboya, general manager of Silver Economy Group, who conducted a lecture on entrepreneurial opportunities within the Silver Economy.

Next, the attendees participated in a networking activity to create connections between entrepreneurs, followed by the workshop on generating new business lines, where participants were able to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the day.

The final activity of the day was a round table, moderated by Ana Bejarano from Autoocupació, regarding successful entrepreneurial experiences in the Silver Economy. Participating in the discussion were: Ángel Puertas, co-founder and CEO of SeniorDomo; Juanjo Duran, CPO of Exoticca; and Ana Miquel, from the Vermut team.
