June 15, 2020

Autoocupació has remotely trained up to 1000 students during the two months of lockdown caused by the Covid-19 crisis. The closure of classrooms and in-person training has led to a significant increase in registrations for the Foundation’s virtual courses. Thus, up to 581 students are currently training with e-learning courses, focused mainly on digital skills and tools. In addition, 375 more students have joined online training, following their courses through the Teams virtual classroom. In total, almost 1000 students have trusted Autoocupació during these two months of lockdown. Autoocupació’s training service offers a wide range of fully subsidized occupational training for active workers and unemployed individuals, aiming to help people achieve their professional goals and enter the job market.

I completed the B1 English course through the virtual classroom, and my experience was very positive. I found the platform very practical and easy to use, and the classes were very dynamic.” – Sofía Borán, training service student.

Registrations are now open for the new courses starting in June and July, which will be conducted remotely via the virtual classroom.
