Course Objectives
This course prepares you to achieve advanced language proficiency across all registers, enabling you to communicate fluently and accurately in personal, academic, and professional contexts. You will learn to understand and produce complex texts, use vocabulary and grammar correctly, and adapt communication to diverse sociocultural situations. You will develop mediation, oral and written expression skills, and strategies for effective interaction in professional environments.
Content Plan
Linguistic Competences
This module allows you to master a broad vocabulary suitable for real-life situations, as well as complex grammatical structures and C1-level spelling and phonetic conventions. The goal is to ensure precise expression and comprehension in both formal and informal texts and conversations.
Sociolinguistic and Sociocultural Competences
You will learn to adapt flexibly to diverse social and cultural contexts, recognizing norms, values, customs, and interactions typical of the communities where the language is spoken.
Pragmatic Competences
This module develops the ability to communicate effectively across multiple registers and situations, using functions, speech acts, and textual resources to express opinions, emotions, instructions, and complex social relationships.
