Completion of compulsory secondary education (ESO) is required, or passing a level assessment test.

What you will learn

  • This course will enable you to understand the foundations of feminism and the intersectional perspective by analysing affective, gender, cultural, origin-related and functional diversity, and to apply this knowledge in projects and actions that promote inclusion and equity.

Course Objectives

Understand the foundations of feminism and the intersectional perspective applied to affective, gender, cultural, origin-related and functional diversity.
Analyse roles, stereotypes, gender-based violence, LGTBI-phobia and discrimination based on culture or religion.
Identify and apply tools to incorporate intersectionality into projects, actions and intervention approaches.
Develop a critical perspective, self-reflection and social awareness to promote inclusive and transformative practices.

Content Plan

Intersectional perspective
Learn the theoretical and methodological foundations for analysing how different forms of oppression and privilege intersect in diverse contexts.

Affective and gender diversity
Explore key concepts, stereotypes, gender construction, gender-based violence and LGTBI-phobia.

Cultural, origin-related and religious diversity
Analyse racism, prejudice, privilege and interculturality.
