What you will learn
- This course prepares you to understand and apply the regulations governing the rights and regularisation of foreign nationals in Spain. It will help you identify the legal mechanisms for their social and labour integration, as well as provide accurate guidance regarding their administrative situation.
Course Objectives
Identify the rights and freedoms of foreign nationals in Spain and the legal mechanisms that regulate their status.
Recognise the pathways for entry and administrative regularisation, including residence and work permits.
Analyse the differences between refugees, stateless persons, displaced persons and EU citizens.
Develop advisory skills and cultural sensitivity to support foreign nationals in their social and labour market integration.
Content Plan
Module 1: Immigration law
Learn about the rights and current legislation affecting foreign nationals in Spain, including asylum, refugee status, statelessness and entry procedures, with special attention to social integration and legal residence mechanisms.
Module 2: Administrative regularisation mechanisms
Learn the procedures for regularising the residence and employment status of foreign nationals, including work permits, studies and family reunification, as well as the management of specific situations involving EU citizens.
