What you will learn
- Collaborate in the preparation of the supply plan.
- Monitor and control the supply program.
- Collaborate in optimizing the logistics chain according to the criteria established by the organization.
- Communicate in English at an independent user level in logistics and international transport relations and activities.
Course Objectives
This course offers a comprehensive overview of logistics and supply management, from planning materials and resources to controlling the supply chain. You will learn to negotiate and coordinate with suppliers, apply techniques to optimize costs, and ensure process efficiency. In addition, you will acquire the necessary skills to communicate in English in professional logistics and international transport environments.
Content Plan
Module 1. Supply planning
You will learn to plan a company’s material and resource needs using techniques such as MRP or DRP to optimize production and distribution. You will also become familiar with inventory management systems to ensure a balance between availability, cost, and logistics efficiency.
Module 2. Supplier management
You will learn to select, negotiate, and monitor suppliers, establishing efficient agreements and contracts that ensure quality and compliance with deadlines. You will also learn to use digital tools to manage information, control supply, and evaluate supplier performance.
Module 3. Logistics chain optimization
You will learn to identify and improve all phases of the logistics chain, from procurement to distribution, applying strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency. You will also learn to manage incidents and use information systems to monitor and communicate with customers and suppliers.
Module 4. Professional English for logistics and international transport
You will learn to communicate in English in common situations in the logistics and international transport sector, both orally and in writing. You will work on technical vocabulary, document drafting, and customer and supplier service in real professional contexts.
