Grants for job creation and retention

The MAPFRE Foundation is launching the 2nd extraordinary call for ACCEDIM Covid Employment Grants to help reactivate the productive fabric and minimize the social and economic effects of the pandemic.

Beneficiaries

Small businesses, self-employed individuals, and social entities with up to 6 employees, according to the following conditions: 1. Grants for job retention:
  • The hiring must have taken place between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020.
  • The employer must not have reduced their workforce between January 1, 2020, and the date of the grant application.
2. Grants for job creation:
  • The hiring must have taken place on or after January 1, 2021.
  • The new employee must have been legally unemployed for at least 30 days prior to their hiring.
Project-based or service contracts and self-employment are excluded. Both new and existing contracts should preferably be permanent. Other modalities will still be accepted if the minimum duration of the employment contract from the date of the grant application is 9 months.

Amount

Each grant is endowed with a maximum amount of 4,500 EUROS for full-time contracts and a maximum amount of 2,700 EUROS for part-time or half-day contracts, provided they are not less than 20 hours per week.

Deadline and applications

The call for Employment Grants will end when the 500 planned grants are awarded or, otherwise, on September 30, 2021. The grant will be processed at this link, where the terms and conditions can be downloaded to verify that requirements are met.
