New grants from La Seu d’Urgell City Council for the promotion of employment and entrepreneurship

The La Seu d’Urgell City Council has launched a new call for grants aimed at employment and entrepreneurship in the municipality, with the objective of boosting the city’s economy. They are primarily aimed at the commercial and services sector, groups under 35 and over 55, and establishments in the historic city center. Eligible concepts
  • New establishment or transfer of ownership
  • Renovation or expansion
  • Job creation
  • Creation of innovative products or services
  • Under 35 or over 55 years old
  • Opening or improvements to premises in the Historic Center
Recipients Natural or legal persons who are owners of an establishment located in La Seu d’Urgell, with less than 100m2 of public service space, and who meet any of the following requirements:
  • Accredit obtaining the opening or transfer of ownership license or having submitted the communication during 2019 for establishments intended for bars, bar-restaurants, shops, and other services.
  • Accredit the completion of renovations, expansion, or improvements to new, transferred, or existing establishments carried out during 2019.
  • Accredit the creation of a minimum of two jobs during 2019 that remain active for new, transferred, or existing establishments.
  • Accredit the creation of an innovative service or product or initiatives that improve the commercialization of the product or service for new, transferred, or existing establishments.
Amount of grants The maximum amount a single applicant can receive is 4,000 euros. Submission of applications The application period will run from February 1 to 29, 2020.
  • Applications must be submitted at the Citizen Service Office of La Seu d’Urgell City Council.
  • The application must be formalized using the standardized form.
