New grants to promote youth self-employment

A new call for grants of 15,120 euros* is now open for young people aged between 18 and 29 who start an activity as self-employed individuals and maintain it for a minimum of 18 uninterrupted months. The objective is to help young people launch a professional project, thus guaranteeing a minimum income at the start of their economic activity. *The fixed amount of 15,120.00 euros initially established in the call has been updated to 13,636.36 euros

Requirements

  • Be between 18 and 29 years old, inclusive, on the date of starting the activity as a self-employed person.
  • Be registered in the Youth Guarantee Program.
  • Have started the activity as a self-employed person, at least, the day before the application was submitted.
  • Maintain the economic activity for which the aid was requested for a minimum of 18 uninterrupted months. This must be accredited with tax and/or invoicing information.
  • Have your tax domicile in Catalonia and maintain it for at least the first 18 months.
  • During this period, undertake a training or support activity that improves business management or is related to the professional activity.
    • If you have been awarded the grant, Autoocupació offers you the opportunity to accredit the training activity with us, either through our business creation service, our mentoring program, or a course from our training offer. Contact ccantos@autoocupacio.org to accredit it!

The grant can be applied for starting today, July 18, and until September 20.
