Course Objectives
This course prepares you to learn the basic principles of dietetics and healthy eating, as well as to apply healthy culinary techniques in the preparation of varied and balanced dishes. It helps you develop practical and organizational skills in the kitchen, with attention to ingredient quality and food safety.

Basic knowledge of dietetics and nutrition
Foods, nutrients, causes of obesity, and healthy exercise.
Healthy cooking techniques
Steaming, microwave cooking, grilling, baking, wok, en papillote, and other methods to preserve nutrients.
Kitchen management and organization
Preparation of balanced dishes, decision-making, problem-solving, and awareness of healthy eating.
