Quality Policy
The Board of Trustees, the team, the collaborators, and the volunteers of Autoocupació are aligned and committed to the Foundation’s mission, vision, and values, which form the basis of our quality policy.
This policy allows us to make users the active protagonists of our services, adapting them to their needs through a management system that helps us establish and persistently pursue our objectives, and systematically plan and evaluate all actions. This facilitates continuous improvement and maximizes social impact, while ensuring commitment to the requirements of funding entities and current legislation.
This quality management system is certified according to the UNE ISO 9001:2015 standard. Current certificate available here.

Transparency
With the publication of this information, the Fundació Privada per a la Promoció de l’Autoocupació de Catalunya complies with the transparency obligations established in Law 19/2014, of December 29, on transparency, access to information, and good governance, and Order JUS/152/2018, of September 12, which establishes the level of subjection of foundations and associations declared of public utility to the transparency instruments established by Law 21/2014, of December 29, on the protectorate of foundations and verification of the activity of associations declared of public utility.

Objective and Purposes
The objective and purposes of the Foundation are established in Articles 5 and 6 of its Bylaws.
Beneficiaries
The beneficiaries of the Foundation’s activities are established in Article 8 of its Bylaws.
Strategic Lines
The Foundation’s strategic lines are:
- Helping entrepreneurs develop the skills and access the resources they need to create, consolidate, and grow their businesses, generating new employment for themselves and others.
- Improving the employability of workers through guidance, training, placement support, and intermediation programs with companies.
- Promoting the transfer of small businesses to safeguard employment, mediating between people who have an ongoing business and do not wish to continue it and people who want to own their own business.

Additionally, the quality evaluation and control reports corresponding to the latest edition of the transversal, sectoral, and vocational training programs in the labor field associated with the CNQP subsidized by the Consortium for Continuing Education of Catalonia are published.
Social Balance
Autoocupació has supported the creation of more than 5,000 companies and more than 10,000 jobs since 1986: 30 years of Autoocupació.

Governance and Organizational Structure
Board of Trustees
The organization and operation of the Board of Trustees are regulated by Title Four of the Foundation’s Bylaws.

President
The powers of the President are established in Article 23 of the Foundation’s Bylaws.
The President of the Foundation is Albert Colomer i Espinet.
Code of Good Governance
On November 25, 2020, the Board of Trustees approved the Foundation’s Code of Good Governance.
Director
The functions and obligations of the Director are regulated by Article 28 of the Foundation’s Bylaws.
The Director of the Foundation is Guillem Arís Coderch.
The Director provides his services through a senior management contract.

Management Committee
The Management Committee is a consultative body for the Director, composed of the heads of service, delegates, and department heads of the Foundation.

- Three services: business creation and mentoring, training, and business transfer (reempresa).
- Four delegations: Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, and Tarragona.
- Four support departments: administration, communication, quality and knowledge management, and human resources.

Grants and Subsidies
The Foundation finances part of its services through subsidies from various public administrations.

The Foundation does not grant aid or subsidies to its beneficiaries.
Public Procurement
The Foundation finances part of its services through public procurement mechanisms from various administrations, public bodies, and private institutions.

These contracts are published in the corresponding contractor profiles of the various administrations, public bodies, and private institutions that tender them.
Contracts and Agreements
From 2001 until March 31, 2018, the Foundation provided its services in collaboration with social economy companies promoted by the Foundation’s professional teams, to whom it commissioned the execution of activities in each of its delegations, with a professional services company to whom it commissioned the management and coordination of activities, and with a communication company that produced the teaching and dissemination materials necessary for the development of the activities.
As of April 1, 2018, the Foundation reincorporated into its staff the professional teams that provided their services in these companies, limiting contracts with them to the use of the spaces and infrastructures they own and the occasional performance of some services.
