The Reempresa Centre of Catalonia participates in the 2nd International SME Conference in Athens

Albert Colomer and Oriol Alba, director and coordinator of the Reempresa Centre of Catalonia, participated last week in the second edition of the international SME conference, invited by the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen & Merchants (GSEVEE), with the aim of discussing the role of small and medium-sized enterprises as drivers of growth and innovation in economic democratisation. During the conference, Reempresa’s director, Albert Colomer, along with other members of Transeo (the European association for the transfer of small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe), had the opportunity to greet Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and George Kavvathas, president of GSEVEE, which brings together professionals, artisans, and other independent entrepreneurs in the country. Additionally, during the event, Oriol Alba, Reempresa coordinator, presented the market for buying and selling small businesses in a plenary session as a successful measure for promoting small businesses. Reempresa was awarded, in 2017, the European Enterprise Promotion Award in the category that recognises innovative policies promoting the creation and growth of businesses.
